The objective of the audit (for fiscal years 2015 and 2016) is to provide reasonable assurance to KFW as well as a reasoned opinion that the resources allocated are managed in accordance with:
• Program procedure manual validated by the November 2014 annual review;
• Financial regulations, practical rules and internationally accepted management procedures;
• Requirements set out in the basic documents of the Program, including the provisions applicable to monitoring, evaluation and reporting;
• ECOWAS procedures and standards in accounting, financial management, procurement for the procurement of goods and equipment and finally the preparation of various reports (financial reports, progress reports, etc.).
