The Government of Burundi and the United Nations have agreed to establish mechanisms for Transitional Justice, in accordance with the Arusha Agreement of 2000. To this end, inclusive national consultations should be organized. It is to develop a methodology and appropriate tools to carry out broad and inclusive national consultations on the establishment of Transitional Justice mechanisms that UNDP is initiating this consultation with the aim of recruiting a firm of specialized experts.
ALG’s services consisted of:
- Collecting statistical data to facilitate the identification and location of participants in the National Consultations;
- Developing the methodology and tools (questionnaires, interview guide, facilitation guide, counting sheets, framework, etc.);
- Train the CPT and field teams who will be responsible for conducting the National consultations
- Analysis of the findings
- Develop the general report on the national consultations.
