Our mission is to enhance trade, promote business development, and strengthen Economic and Monetary Systems (EMS) within the continent. We are currently building a pool of high-calibre experts to support the successful implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) initiative.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking qualified and experienced experts in the fields of trade, business development, and EMS support. Successful candidates will possess a deep understanding of public management in Africa, with prior experience in governmental affairs being a significant advantage. This role involves providing high-level technical expertise and strategic guidance to national and regional bodies across Africa, directly contributing to the strategic objectives of the AfCFTA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized consultation and support to governmental and regional entities on initiatives related to trade, business development, and EMS.
• Contribute to the effective deployment of AfCFTA strategies and policy frameworks at both national and regional levels.
• Design and deliver capacity-building and training programs for key stakeholders in economic development and trade.
• Foster partnerships and knowledge sharing through engagement with governmental agencies, private sector actors, and civil society organizations.
• Conduct critical research and analysis to inform policy formulation and strategic planning for economic integration and trade.
• Represent Africa Label Group Inc at relevant conferences, meetings, and workshops concerning African economic development and trade.
• Produce comprehensive reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications:

• An advanced degree in a relevant discipline such as Public Management, International Relations, Trade, or Business Development.
• A proven minimum of 5 years of professional experience in trade, business development, or EMS support, ideally within the African context.
• Robust knowledge of African public management practices and principles.
• Familiarity with the AfCFTA framework and experience collaborating with governmental agencies is highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a multi-cultural environment and manage diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in English, French, or Arabic is required; proficiency in additional African languages is a plus.
